Henry Wilmer Bannarn was a sculptor, artist in pastel, free-form sketch and best known for his work during the Harlem Renaissance. Louisiana Nocturne depicts the nightlife of a rural town in Louisiana. The piece shows three couples around a two story buildign marked. Tavern Bar. The bar is between two buildings with a person on the porch of both.
