- Description
- A man and a boy are the main focus of this scene. The man holds out the scales of justice, while the boy carries a torch. In the background, ghostly portraits of John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy memorialize the assassinated politicians. On the right, a portrait of Stokely Carmichael (aka Kwame Ture) bursts through the flag. This references Carmichael's 1967 speech on Texas Southern's campus and the TSU Invasion, when Houston police officers raided the campus not long after Carmichael's speech.
